Blog 2: Stress

We are now entering the fifth week of school and I have found that the college transition is a beautiful challenge. I now find myself awake until 5a.m. and sleeping until noon. I wake up rather refreshed and mighty hungry since i haven't eatin since SoVi closed at 10 p.m. I walk downstairs with my roommate and destroy the buffet, now it's time to digest. I plop down in from of my television and play some intense NHL '12. Next thing I know its already three o'clock and i realize I need to work on that math homework or pesky essay due for history class. Every time, without fail, one of my neighbors comes over to invite me to hang out with them. Of course telling myself I can do my work later I rush off to their room before picking up a book. Next thing I know it is midnight and i still haven't done my work. Oh well too late to study now, so I just complete my day by hanging out with my buddies and being completely unproductive.
This is how I have spent the first few weeks of school and have realized I cannot be successful in school without doing my work. Work is for the weekend as well as the week. I hope to continue making good decisions and finding good balance with my decisions.
