Me :D

Hi! I am Mitch Brown; I am 18 years old and am currently attending Florida Gulf Coast University seeking a degree in engineering. I started my life growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma with my mother and two sisters, Natalie (21) and Elizabeth (14). I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of six and have, for the most part, gotten used to dealing with the everyday hassles. I grew up living the average American life playing little league baseball, breaking bones, and falling in love with the outdoors. At the age of ten my mother decided to move the family to Naples, Florida. I was rather unsure about the whole move because all of my family was still in Oklahoma. I began school and found many friends, which helped make the move easier. I spend a few years in Florida then decided to move in with my dad for a year back in Oklahoma, where I went to school with my cousins and old friends. That year I played and won the Tulsa baseball tournament, which took us to the state tournament where we place second. I was always a huge fan of playing sports and a die-hard University of Oklahoma football fan. Boomer Sooners!!! A few years after moving back to Florida I began high school at St. John Neumann catholic high school where I ran the high hurdles in track, participated in the swim/diving and golf teams. My senior year of high school I took up and fell in love with ice hockey. I often spend a lot of time at Germain arena practicing and skating with my friends. I decided to go to FGCU so that I can stay close to my family and still get to play hockey with all of my friends that are nearby. I look forward to reading all of your blogs!
